Fine Art Photography or Fine Art is defined as a visual art considered to have been created or appreciated primarily or solely for their imaginative, aesthetic, or intellectual content.
The word Fine in Fine Art does not means that how Fine the Art is but it stands for the purity of the art and thought put into the work. In Fine Art we don't have to worry about the details, focus or story. Fine Art Photography stands in contrast to photojournalism and commercial photography. Photojournalism or Commercial Photography visually communicates stories and ideas. But Fine Art Photography is created primarily as an expression of the artist’s vision. Fine Art Photography refers to Photographs that are created to fulfil the creative vision of the artist. But we always have to keep in mind that every picture has to have an description by the artist, that what was the thought behind the artwork.
For example I am sharing a set of few images here with you; all these Images are connected and are part of a photo essay "Ways". In these Images I wanted to capture the soul of all these people and my concept was that no matter how intelligent you think of yourself but it is your soul that shows you the "Way". You think that it’s you who is planning the things but it is your soul who had already decided that what it wants to experience in this lifetime because it’s you who will die not your soul. According to Hindu mythology soul never dies it just changes the body. When a body dies soul leaves that body in search of a new body and then the soul decides where it want to take birth again and what it wants to experience in that life time.
Might be some people will like it, some don’t but it is not important it is just a matter of opinion. As an artist my job is to create what feels right to me and that is what I try to do. None of these pics are Photoshopped.
