Dal ki Tikki.

“Dal Ki Tikki” with Imli & Podine ki Chatney (Mint and Tamarind Sauce)

Basically there are two type of “Tikkis” famous in Jaipur First “Aloo ki Tikki with Chola” and secondly “Dal ki Tikki”. My personal favourite is “Aloo ki Tikki with Chola” but “Dal ki Tikki” is also very tasty. While writing this post also I am feeling like I should have one today also.

Anyhow to get the Best “Dal Ki Tikki” with Imli & Podine ki Chatney (Mint and Tamarind Sauce) you should go straight at L.M.B. Hotel, Johari Bazar, Jaipur.

Lakshmi Misthan Bhandar Hotel, popularly known as just LMB, is a well-known hotel, restaurant and sweet shop in Jaipur city in Rajasthan state in India. Established in 1954, it is located in Jaipur City in Jauhari Bazar. The hotel is said to be the first three star hotel of the state. Today, it is most known for its restaurant and mithai shop (sweet shop), which are a popular tourist attraction, serving traditional sweets like Ghewar, Phini, etc. . . apart from “Dal ki Tikki” L.M.B. is also famous for its Dhai Bada.

This place is Hygienic and quality of food is very good. So if you are in Jaipur City area and your tummy is calling then go to L.M.B., I sometimes go there without the Tummy Call also. . . :)

Yummy. . .  :)
